As the contract is a DPS, new suppliers can be added at any time allowing your existing supplier to be included in your procurement activity. The DPS is split into regional areas, meaning that only suppliers in your area will respond to your opportunity. The agreement is fully compliant with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 removing the need for you to carry out a full tender process.
The agreement covers a range of services; schools are able to select the elements of the service that they need on a contractual or options (pay-as-you-go) basis to get the right contract for your school.
Can I use it?
Our Accountancy and Financial Advisory Services for Schools agreement is accessible to all educational establishments including primary schools, secondary schools and multi-academy trusts and colleges across the whole of the UK.
You can source a little or as much as you need, from day to day account management and regular reporting plus financial software, to support with the production of the Annual Financial Statement or trial balances, to pupil premium grants or even just tax advice and VAT returns; the DPS agreement is flexible enough to enable you to quickly secure excellent services using a set of schools tested & approved templates and documents.
With both national and local suppliers available, the DPS is split into 12 geographical lots.
